Knowing your uniqueness is a gift to others = your honesty, trustworthiness and capacity to be tenaciously respectful. Think about it. How many times have you NOT said what you truly wanted to say in a moment of frustration? How easily you could have hurt someone's feelings. Torn down their dogma, Times you did NOT talk about them to make yourself right and them wrong. Oh - or am I preaching to the converted choir?
We are here in the middle of the messy mix because we care.
We care so much it hurts - not sometimes but often. So what can we do? Get further in the middle. Did not expect that, did you? Think about it... problems exist for us to solve. Humans are wired to find and solve problems. We have been like this since we crawled out of the caves and down from the trees. When we see a problem - we need to solve "it" using the least amount of energy possible. Or so I have been schooled.
UnderDogs are our loves. The Shy, Bold, Confused, Scared, Goofy, Angry, Crazy-makers.
Difficult and even potentially Dangerous - we love them because we respect them and their honesty because they show us exactly who they are and what they are thinking. For their trustworthiness - because once we have won that trust - OUR lives will never be the same. For their tenacious respect for themselves, the needs of others, and how they can make the world a better place because they are in it.
